Sorry lads, i'm gonna have to pike out My kids are in a dance show in newport, the youngest has done her stint, but the eldest has to stay there and do the evening performance We went this afternoon, started at 2.30pm but it didn't finish till 5pm then we had to wait to colect our youngest. Got out of there at 5.15pm.

OK then, my eldest's show starts at 7.30pm and finishes at 10.30. Again, we gotta wait to collect her and get her home trouble is, we can't get anyone to babysit and nobody to collect Rhiannon at end of show for us, so i'm gonna get her and bring her home. This means i aint gonna be home till after 11pm and by then it'll be too late to get into town so i hope you have a good time and next time we arrange a social, i will be there Looks like i gotta go and practice 'speed-hand sets' now

How did they both get on?
I went out briefly but ducked out of too much drinking as I'm struggling with sleep and various stresses, and drink won't help much.
It was good to see everyone though, and sorry you couldn't make it.
