I would like us arrange at least one club camping trip this summer that is focused on training. I've been on training weekends with other clubs before, and I know some of you have as well. I find it very beneficial having a couple of days of concentrated learning. It's easy to fit in at least 6 hours of training with a couple of breaks and lunch and still have plenty of time for socialising in the evenings.

For those that can't make the camping (or preferably those that want to do both) I would like us to have a Saturday or a Sunday were we can meet up for a day of training locally. This could be 2 hours in the morning, lunch then 2 hours after lunch. We could hire somewhere and split the cost between the students, but I would really like us to hold it somewhere like Roath Rec. I think it would be great for us to get the extra practice and it may generate some outside interest as so many people walk passed. I could do some flyers or info packs to hand out to anyone who seems interested. All of us in out hoodies and t-shirts training in the park would create a strong visuall image.

My idea is to have park training end April, Camping training mid June, park training mid to end September.

    What say you?
